Design History
This is a brief explanation of the history of this document.

In this paragraph describe to the reader what you are trying to achieve with
the design history. It is possible that they don’t know what this is for and you need
to explain it to them.

Version 1.10

Version 1.10 includes some tuning and tweaking that I did after making my
initial pass at the design. Here is what I changed.
1. I rewrote the section about what systems the game runs on.
2. I incorporated feedback from the team into all parts of the design however
no major changes were made.
3. Added character option, to design character.

Version 2.00

Version 2.00 is the first version of the design where a major revision has
been made now that much more is known about the game. After many hours of
design, many decisions have been made. Most of these large design decisions are
now reflected in this document.
Included in the changes are:

1. Changed distance meters.

2. Increased weapon variety.
3. Story details.
4. World layout and design.

Version 2.10

Version 2.10 has several small changes over that of version 2.00. The key
areas are in many of the appendixes.
Included in the changes are:

1. Minor revisions throughout entire document.

2. Added “User Interface Appendix”.
3. Added “Game Object Properties Appendix”.
4. Added concept sketch for world.

3
Game Overview

Philosophy

Philosophical point #1

This game is a classic arcade type game. It lets you get the good ol’ feeling of
playing a old arcade game, but now its updated and the new generations fun has
taken over for creativity .

Philosophical point #2

Our game runs on low spec PCs/Laptops and Macs along with Xbox. The
reason for this is that I myself own a Mac and find it irritating that some things do
not run for me, and that not everyone has game systems, so if you just have a
computer this games for you! Also Xbox is very popular, so boom! its on Xbox too.

Philosophical point #3

Overall I wanted to create a fun and addicting game, that everyone loves to
play, just cant get enough of! There are only a few games like that for me, so I
figured maybe that’s what everybody is yearning for!

Common Questions

What is the game?

The game is a fun, addicting, and entertaining little adventure of simply

launching objects in the air to gain points and bonuses to level up, win the game, or
get your high score to a personal best!

Why create this game?

I created this game because there is not another like it out there. Its one of a
kind, and it will make you want to play and play until you’ve mastered it! The little
tweaks and twists will leave you wanting more and more.

4
Where does the game take place?

The game can be in many different places, from desert to snow, or ocean to
volcanic eruptions. Depends on what mode your playing in, or how far you have
gotten in the game. The further you get the more types of places there are to go.

What do I control?

The player is in control of the character, their weapon(s) and the object they
launch.

How many characters do I control?

You will only be in control of your character. You may change your character,
or design a new one, but while in game play you can only control your character.

What is the main focus?

The player will ultimately achieve earning all “coins” that are in the sky.
While trying to do that there are extras in the sky (or air) that you may also collect
as you go, each earning more points and perks. After everything that is needed is
collected you can level up.

What’s different?

Everything. There is no game out there that you can just buy and get on your
Xbox and play. I’ve never seen it. From different climates/environments, to the game
itself, hitting objects up into the air to collect stuff to win and achieve goals!
