Client Installation Services
We have designed several standard Client Installation packages to help you easily and quickly install your new Dell solutions
throughout your organization. Our experienced technicians will help your staff manage a fast installation process, no matter how
large your deployment may be. We handle everything from de-installing computers that are being replaced, installing new ones,
transferring your critical data and adding peripherals, even at multiple sites.

—PC Installation
Our PC Installation process uses proven methodologies and an expert team to get your new computers operating as quickly as
possible. While we install your new PCs, we will connect them to your network, mapping to your network printers. We will also
connect your external peripherals, like printers and scanners. And you don’t have to purchase new PCs to take advantage of
this service. It is a stand-alone offer available to any environment at any time.
—PC Installation Plus Data Migration
If you are replacing systems, Dell provides Data Migration in addition to our PC Installation services. We will migrate data from
your old systems to the new computers so you can immediately begin experiencing the benefits of your new technology
investment with minimal disruption to your end users.

Enterprise Installation Services

Enterprise environments can face demanding and complex installation challenges. As part of Dell’s built-to-order model, we
recommend that you take advantage of our on-site Enterprise Installation services to enjoy the maximum benefits of your new Dell

Our modular suite of installation services allows you to customize the right service package to implement your new systems quickly
and efficiently. We provide on-site installation of all PowerEdge™ components, PowerEdge clusters, PowerEdge racks,
PowerConnect™ switches, PowerVault™ storage systems and Dell/EMC® Direct Attach Storage and Storage Area Network solutions.

—Server Installation Services

Our comprehensive Server Installation services are designed to give you an end-to-end server deployment solution. We will
configure and test your new Dell servers, as well as mount them into a Dell-supported rack. Dell provides on-site Server and
NOS Installation services including Microsoft® Windows® 2000, Server/Advanced Server, Microsoft Windows NT® or Novell®
NetWare® operating systems.
If you do not need the extensive offering of our Server Installation services, Dell provides Basic Server Set-up. We will perform
a system test as well as install your new server into a Dell-supported rack.
—Switch Installation Services
Dell offers complete PowerConnect switch installation. We will connect cables between the switches and attached servers
and clients as well as test them to make certain they are properly connected. Plus, we mount them into a Dell-supported rack.
We also provide managed switch installation with advanced feature configuration including Password Protection, System
Manager, Port Manager, Address Manager, Spanning Tree, VLAN and Class of Service Setup, Port Trunking, Port Mirroring,
SNMP, Multimedia Support and Statistics.
—Storage Installation Services
We offer on-site installation of all PowerVault storage systems and Dell/EMC DAS and SAN solutions. Dell will also install
all PowerVault Fibre Channel and SCSI storage hardware and software to create a strong storage network robust enough for
your enterprise.
