USAGE: Something was being done by someone at sometime in the past for a
while.
Examples:
Active : The boy was throwing the stone.
Passive: The stone was being thrown by the boy.
Negative: Negative:
Dalia wasn’t cleaning up her house Dalia’s house wasn’t being cleaned up by
her.
Interrogative: Interrogative:
Was Dalia cleaning up her house? Was Dalia’s house being cleaned up by
her?
