    RULE 1:
    Pronouns are words that take the place of nouns.
    We use a pronoun to replace a noun so that we don’t have to repeat it.

    Example:
    The new car is small and compact. It is economical too.

    RULE 2:
    The PRONOUN must agree with the noun in number.
    Singular pronouns replace singular nouns.
    Plural pronouns replace plural nouns.

    Example: The nurse smiled at me. She then took my temperature

    RULE 3:
    Pronouns used as the subject of the sentence must be in the subjective form.
