IN Toyota, TQM is divided

into total quality management of production products and total quality management of all
employees.

Trial production and testing; 4. Production preparation; 5. Mass production; 6. Product
manufacturing quality inspection; Each stage has strict quality requirements and inspection
regulations. From 1 to 4 is an important key to ensuring product quality. If it is not done well, the
technique of manufacture is useless no matter how good it is. 5 to 6 stages to ensure processing
quality. 7 is the stage to ensure the quality of users' use after sales.

The responsibilities of each employee on the production line are clearly divided. Once there is a
unqualified products, the production will be stopped. For example, the worker will immediately pull up
the shutdown rope, and then the team leader will come over to check for any faults. In order to
ensure quality, Toyota has also set up employees not to overproduce. For example, in most
factories, workers strive to over-produce so that the target can be reached as soon as possible, and
as a result the product quality becomes poor. But at Toyota they require in an orderly way to ensure
quality.

In the TQM of all employees, the company has increased the training of employees. Toyota
employees must carry out 380 hours of training to understand the production of cars before
entering the job. College students must work in the Toyota factory for a month before entering
Toyota, and then It takes 3 months to learn the quality management courses of car sales and Toyota.
