Division Memorandum No. 378 s.

of 2020 SLHDS REPORT

The Division released Division Memorandum No. 378 s. of 2020 known as SLHDS which all
schools must set Helping Desk in the field offices to receive, process and respond the
information, issues and concern/or complains coming from the parents, students and other
sectors relative to the implementation of the curriculum and other educational concern under the
new normal. This is to ensure and meet the above mentioned during the distribution and retrieval
of modules. Our school, Mahongkog High School, conducted weekly action regarding with this
matter as response to the memorandum to help and ask parent, students, and relative sector to
improve our system in providing better service in this new normal.

The following are their issues, concerns and complains:

1. Incapacity to teach their children since some of them did not even finished elementary and
high school.
2. Additional work for them instead of going to their farm.
3. Hustle from getting modules due to the distance of school.
4. Difficult content of modules.
5. Internet Service since most of the activities in the modules are research based.

From these issues, concerns and complains, the teachers continue to asses and provide the lacks
and needs to ensure that the both parties would be beneficial and successful. We, the teachers of
Mahongkog High School, look for intervention and ways from these issues, concerns and
complains. Example is we posted announcements and did House-to-house visitation to those who
did not get their modules and deliver it following the proper protocol. Moreover, the our school
received complements from being active in responding and providing the issues, concerns and
complains.
