GE-Art Appreciation TTh 10:30-12:00

In the article, genius is described as something learned and gained from our
experiences. It requires mastery of techniques and training and great
background about the subject. It is contrary to Kant’s definition of genius. For
Kant, being genius is something that we cannot acquire for ourselves even
through experience because it is innate and acquired by nature. It is a talent
not defined by science and rules.
