Hi Samir,
I’m really happy to tell you about food in my country (England). We have three main meals a day.
Breakfast is between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. It’s usually made of bacon, eggs, sausages, tomatoes and
toast. Lunch is between 12:00 and 1:30 p.m. It is often a light meal of soup, sandwiches and a salad.
Most children have lunch at school.
Dinner- The main meal- is eaten anytime between 6:30 and 8:00 p.m. (Evening meal). A
traditional dinner is meat or fish with potatoes and vegetables. After that, some people have
pudding (dessert) such as fruit, chocolate cake or apple pie.
We pay a lot of attention to good table manners. Even young children must eat properly with knife
and fork.
