CASE STUDY ON “CONFLICT WITH CO WORKER AT WORKPLACE”

ABSTRACT:

I was working in Water treatment service company, where one of my colleague has always have
conflict with me regarding service to clients, as we are in engineering company and in
Maintainace and service section, as I am the Senior Project Engineer and he is junior Project
Engineer, he was always neglect my instruction and take decision without taking me in loop
which in last I have to face all the troubles and relationship with that client also shatters.

RESEARCH HYPOTHESIS:

On doing research on that I have hypothesis that the person which I had conflict is due to the
fact that we both are in same age group and that I get appointed in office later than him and on
higher post than him, he might considered himself that his job might be at risk, he keep giving
me random replies which will let him away from the tasks that I gave to him, and he wants to
work on their projects only and not wanted to cooperate with other colleagues and specially
me.

METHODOLOGY OF SOLUTION

1. Firstly I have to sit with him and discussed in friendly and good environment make him
friend, go for the lunch with him by taking other colleges as well to show him that he is
also the important person of our team.

2. Also make him realize that we are working for shared goal of one person (Owner of the
Company) so work as an team , if he work more smarter than him , company awarded
him also , in private organization it’s not the matter of post it’s the performance that
keep promoted .

3. Addressing the issue early will prevent it from snowballing into an even bigger
problem especially if the problem actually turns out to be a misunderstanding or a
relatively small issue

4. Addressing Problems face to face, that removes the misconception and argument no
going to pro longed.

5. Talk with him and engaged in project that you I am currently working on it, which makes
understanding of each other better, and also increases the performance of the company
and project.

6. One of the key skills in resolving a conflict is perspective taking, seeing things from the
other person’s point of view. So put yourself in her shoes and imagine what she’s
experiencing. Why might she be upset?

CONCLUSION IMPACT:

By taking above provided solution, we got Better result, person become more understandable
with each other and work experience will increase, as individual can’t complete the projects the
TEAM can complete the project and run on the track of SUCCESS.
