Cut the yarn but leave a long yarn tail for sewing.
Fold the piece over so you have a half moon piece. Start sewing it togheter, sew a little bit at
the time. (Pictures on page 6)
Start stuffing. Take your time when stuffing so you get the shape you want. I recommend
using a chopstick when stuffing, it makes it easier to get the stuffing the way you want and
to get it in to small spaces. Stuff firmly but not to hard. Keep stitching it togheter a little bit
and add more stuffing as you go. (Pictures on pages 6-7)
Embroid the sleepy eyes and mouth. I used 3 strands of black DMC embroidery floss.
(pictures on pages 8-10)

CHEEKS (make 2)
With hot pink
Start with a magic ring
R1: 6 sc in the magic ring
R2: [1 inc] x6 (12)
R3: 12 sc (12)
Finish with 1 sl. Cut the yarn but leave a long yarn tail for sewing.
Pin the cheeks to the moon and sew them on. (Pictures on page 10)

STAR
(make two pieces for each star, Make a total of 4 stars)
Make a magic ring
R1: 5 sc in the magic ring (5)
R2: [1 inc] x5 (10)
R3: [1 sc, 1 inc] x5 (15)
R4: *1 sl, 1 sl, (sc, dc, dc, sc in the same stitch)* Repeat this 5 times
Fasten the threads on one of the pieces and keep a long yarn tail on the other.
Put the two star pieces on top of eachother and sew them togheter (Pictures on page 11)

DROPS (make 3)
With white
Start with a magic ring
R1: 6 sc in to the magic ring (6)
R2: [1 inc] x6 (12)
R3-5: 12 sc (3 rounds, 12)
Start stuffing
R6: [1 dec] x6 (6)
Sew the hole togheter and fasten the thread

Take a long strand of white yarn and tie a little knot on the bottom of it. Then push the
needle all the way through one of the stars and then one drop and the on star again. Make
this one time. This is going to be the middle piece.
Then take a new strand of white and pusch the needle through one drop and then one star.
Make this two times. These are the side pieces.
Make sure that you have a little gap between the stars and drops. (Pictures on page 12)
Now it’s time to sew them to the bottom of your moon. I think it’s easier to start with the
strand that are supposed to be in the middle.
The strands are placed with 7 stitches between them. (Pictures on page 13)
I also prefer to attach all of the strands before sewing them on to the moon, by doing this it

makes it easier to adjust the strands so they looks nice and even.
When you are pleased with the way you have placed your strands it’s time to sew them on.
Take a nice piece of string or braid a long string and sew it on the top of the moon.
Make it as long as you need depending on how or where you are going to hang your Moon
Mobile ☺

And you’re done!
