The 

Seven Wonders of the Ancient World is the first


known list of the most remarkable creations of classical
antiquity ; The number seven was chosen because the
Greeks believed it represented perfection and plenty

Great Pyramid of Giza


The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the
Ancient World, 
It is believed the pyramid was built as a tomb for Fourth
Dynasty Egyptian pharaoh Khufu 
The pyramid has three burial chambers. The first is underground, carved
into bedrock. The second, aboveground chamber was called the queen's
chamber The third is the king's chamber

Hanging Gardens of Babylon


The Hanging Gardens of Babylon  is the only one whose
location has not been definitively established . The gardens
were said to have looked like a large green mountain
constructed of mud bricks.

Statue of Zeus at Olympia


The Statue of Zeus at Olympia was a giant seated figure it
represented the god Zeus sitting on a wood throne made by the
Greek sculptor Phidias  at the sanctuary of Olympia  it was lost
and destroyed during the 5th century
Temple of Artemis
The Temple of Artemis was a Greek temple dedicated to the
goddess Artemis . It was located in Ephesus  it was completely
rebuilt three times before its eventual destruction
