Jesus. I would read this
scripture to the students and
then have them locate other
readings that have to do with
the story of Jesus. The
students may find readings on
the birth of Jesus, who was
born in the manger in a town
called Bethlehem. Or they may
find readings on when the
three Magi visited the manger,
or when Mary wraps the baby
in cloth, etc.
This reading could be used
with students at an elementary
level. I would use this reading
with students as a way to
provide a lesson where the
students learn about one of
God’s many teachings through
the bible. The students can be
taught that God will fulfill his
promises that He makes with
everyone; however it will take
