I. TABULATING DATA. Complete the table by providing needed information or by putting an (x) inside the
cell/box.
Identify the sources of history whether it is primary or secondary. After identifying then categorize it whether it is a
document, creative works, artifacts , audio or video recordings or oral history, then give its significance to
historiography.
(Note: for every source you must have 2 (x) only, one for the KINDS and the other is for the TYPES, See example

Ex. Diary x x -serves as ……………….
1. Live news/ x x This would serve as proof to what
footage happened and something we can
look back to. This makes news
much more accessible to anyone,
and keeps people appraised with
what is going on in the world. This
promotes greater transparency and
authenticity and helps people to gain
more information. This will also
taught us to be responsible on using
credible sites and filter what
information we should take and
believe in. Its importance to
historiography is that this is a legit
basis and something that can prove.
2. Kundiman x x This serves as a living culture of
Filipinos that we have a diverse
culture and we own it. Kundiman is
a genre of traditional Filipino love
songs. The lyrics of the kundiman
are written in Tagalog. The melody
is characterized by a smooth,
flowing and gentle rhythm with
dramatic intervals. Kundiman was
the traditional means of serenade in
the Philippines. This living culture
like “kundiman” is a great
contribution to historiography.
3. Textbook x x This will serve as a proof of
learnings a shared learnings that
many aspiring students need. In
order to learn we need guide and
this can be a basis of learning that
we are embracing and uplifting our
society by means of learning. The
function of a textbook is essentially
to guide the teaching and learning of
the curriculum in a particular
subject. Against the backdrop of
poor teacher context knowledge,
textbooks play a fundamental role in
supplementing teachers' knowledge
deficits. This will contribute also to
historiography but I believe that due
to advances in technologies and
everything is online this will fade
and sooner or later will be gone.
4. Replica of x X This serves as a bedrock of how
Monalisa skillful and how people are able to
show and give their best by means
of art. Mona Lisa is a very realistic
portrait. The subject's softly
sculptural face shows Leonardo's
skillful handling of sfumato, an
artistic technique that uses subtle
gradations of light and shadow to
model form, and shows his
understanding of the skull beneath
the skin. This will serve as a great
contribution to historiography that
people value arts, people value
talents and skills and all.
5. Old Coins x X Coins serves as a legit proof that
even in the past trading and
exchange of goods and services are
associated with money. Coins are as
important as the inscription in
history. They confirm the
information derived from literature.
Its significance to historiography is
that coins are product of skills and
to be able to have a one currency in
a certain country, the Philippines is
one that uses coins in terms of
money and through time it changes
in form, shape and even the design
but what matters the most is that this
is part of our present that our next
generation will surely adopt.
