ACTIVITIES Pre-lesson:
1. Pupils are asked if they have seen any signboards by the road side. Pupils
share the examples.
Lesson delivery:
2. Pupils are given the Road & Traffic Signs board game in groups of 3.
3. Pupils get ready with the tracker and dice. As they land on the pictures,
pupils must say out the meaning of the pictures or guess if they don’t know.
Pupils can also write down the meanings in their exercise books.
4. Pupils play the game. Pupils are guided by their peers.
5. Pupils and teacher discuss what the signs and pictures mean.
Post-lesson:
6. Pupils discuss the importance of abiding to the road laws and the impacts of
not abiding.
