An exceptional solution for neonatal screening, the QSight® 210 MD system makes it easier than ever to achieve
consistent, reproducible results across one or multiple instruments, day in and day out, with no need for
frequent cleaning or reoptimization – all in a compact, easy-to-use form factor.

High sensitivity and productivity

The QSight® MSMS system’s StayClean self-cleaning source means you don’t
have to shut down the system for scheduled cleaning and maintenance,
for up to 35 days more science per year than competitors’ systems. And
more uptime means higher throughput on the volumes of DBS samples you
process every day.

Better ion flow for consistent performance

At the same time, ions are transferred from the HSID interface to the
system’s Laminar Flow Ion Guide™ technology, then moved to the analyzing
region by a flow of background gas – no axial electrical fields are necessary.
This means the system is not susceptible to the usual field fluctuations
and delivers consistently high levels of performance. Instrument drift and
frequent reoptimization and cleaning have been eliminated, for better
system uptime and user productivity.

More analytes per run

With its high-energy diode to attract positive ions, the QSight® system’s
UniField Detector™ technology causes positive ions to collide with the diode
to form electrons, which cascade into the detector, while negative ions are
detected as usual for pulse counting. What you get is near-simultaneous
detection of positive and negative ions without the need for high-voltage
switching. Polarity switching happens in microseconds, limited only by the
ion source and ion path polarity switching – not by the detector.

Simplicity™ 3Q MD software was designed with ease
of use and productivity in mind. With a graphical user
interface and guided three-step workflow, the software
can be up and running – and generating results – right
away. It can also automatically capture internal standard
and calibration values used during a run, eliminating
manual transcription errors. Capable of real-time
acquisition of thousands of MRMs per run, with results
shown in real time, Simplicity 3Q MD software enables
you to monitor data acquisition as it occurs, as well as
review results after each run. This makes it easier to
check instrument performance prior to leaving it to run
overnight, or to access priority results.
Mass spec software that’s versatile and precise

NeoLSD™ MSMS Kit

The NeoLSD MSMS kit is the first ever commercial IVD kit for MSMS detection of six lysosomal storage disorders from a single
dried blood spot, allowing you to run more than 800 tests per instrument, per day.
The analysis of enzymatic activity is intended as an aid in screening newborns for the following lysosomal storage disorders:
Gaucher disease, Niemann-Pick disease (types A and B), Pompe disease, Krabbe disease, Fabry disease, and MPS 1 disease.
