    The Reserve Bank of India has placed Lakshmi Vilas Bank under a moratorium until December 16th or until further notice. Any instruments presented for payment or settlement by Lakshmi Vilas Bank will not be processed by the clearing house during this time period due to RBI instructions. Member banks have been notified not to process any Lakshmi Vilas Bank transactions from November 17th to December 16th or until the RBI provides an update.
