Course Description
Ang Filipino 6 ay kurso sa pananaliksik na nakatuon sa larangan ng agham, matematika at
teknolohiya gamit ang wikang Filipino. Naglalayon itong malinang ang analitikal, kritikal na pag-
iisip, konseptuwal na kasanayan, at pagsulat. Inaasahan ang pagbuo ng papel-pananaliksik na
tatalakay sa paksang nakatuon sa agham, matematika, teknolohiya at iba pang paksa na kaugnay ng
isyung panlipunan at pambansa.

Course Objectives
Sa pamamagitan ng pananaliksik at mga gawain sa kurso, ang mga mag-aaral ay inaasahang:
1. Magiging mapanuri sa mga datos na gagamitin sa pananaliksik;
2. Magiging etikal na mananaliksik;
3. Magiging mahusay na mananaliksik gamit ang wikang Filipino;
4. Malilinang ang kahusayan sa pagsulat ng pananaliksik gamit ang wikang Filipino;
5. Makasusunod sa wastong pamamaraan at proseso ng pananaliksik;
6. Maipapaliwanag ang isinagawang pananaliksik.

V. ASSESSMENT COMPONENT AND CRITERIA

*Alternative assessment may consist of at most three papers/performance/practical exams per quarter.
**Formative assessments are daily/weekly tasks given by the teacher at the end of a lesson. Maximum
of 3 activities/tests per week.

VI. BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS AND SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

Attendance
1. Students must access the Moodle platform during the scheduled time of online classes for
the course.
2. Tracking of accomplishments per session is based on the completed activities in Moodle
and the logged in data taken from the LMS Team.
3. For students without internet connection, attendance is based on the completed course
requirements submitted through courier on scheduled dates.

Decorum
1. During synchronous meetings, students are expected to be at their best behavior.
2. Questions and clarifications must be addressed through Moodle forum.

Special Considerations for Equity

1. When doing synchronous sessions, provision of printed/recorded materials shall be mailed
through courier for students without internet connections.
2. When doing asynchronous sessions, provision of Learning Guides mailed through courier
and phone call instructions shall be made for students without internet connections.
3. When doing examinations, provision of hard copy of examination materials shall be sent
through courier for students without internet connections.
