Structure is the manner of construction of something and the arrangement of its parts.

Structural is concerned with systematic structure in a particular field of study.

Structuralism is a theory of consciousness within psychology that was developed by

Wundt and Titchener. It aims to understand the different components of consciousness.

This theory seeks to analyze the sum of experience from birth to the present day in
terms of the simplest definable components, and then to find out how these components
fit together to form more complex experiences. This school of psychology was largely
based on findings from introspection and self-reports of sensations, feelings, emotions
etc.

Function the action for which a person or thing is specially fitted or used or for which a
thing exists.

Functional is relating to or based on function especially as opposed to structure.

Functionalism, also called structural-functional theory, sees society as a structure with

interrelated parts designed to meet the biological and social needs of the individuals in
that society. Functionalism grew out of the writings of English philosopher and biologist,
Hebert Spencer (1820–1903), who saw similarities between society and the human
body; he argued that just as the various organs of the body work together to keep the
body functioning, the various parts of society work together to keep society functioning
