Position: Admin/HR Assistant
Reports to: Support Coordinator
Supervision of: Nil
Duty station: Hpaan, Kayin State
Travel: 25%
Category and Level: Grade - 3, Point – 1
Salary Range: 464,253 MMK per month
Duration and type of contract: Starting from join date to December, 2020 (with possible
extension)

1. Role and responsibilities

Generic responsibilities
These responsibilities shall be the same for all positions with the same title. The
responsibilities shall be short and essential. Details belong in the Work- and Professional
Development Plan.

1. Comply with NRC’s HR policies and procedures


2. Assist with the implementation of HR policies and procedures at office level
3. Provide support in recruitment processes, including filling applications, inviting
candidates, organizing interview venues etc.
4. Update staff records and files, including contracts, leave, medical, appraisals, etc.
5. Generate monthly records and reports such as staff lists, leave and other HR statistics
6. Process and follow up for HR cases and disciplinary action
7. Ensure confidential issues are being handled confidentially

Specific responsibilities
These responsibilities shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context,
phase of operation, strategic focus and type of intervention. This section shall be revised
whenever a new employee is hired or the context changes significantly.

 Assist in mainstreaming and ensuring that Admin/HR system are well and
consistently implemented in all South East Area and field offices.
 Support in recruitment process of Area office and field offices
 Support in admin/HR training of NRC’s HR policies and procedures when necessary
to all staff
 Assist incoming and outgoing official letters from area office and field offices
 Arrange, coordinate travel and accommodation for Area office, field offices and CO.
 Organize events, meetings and other related events of the organization.
 Responsible for stationary supplies and stocks
 Organize all reports to Country Office/Area office in timely manner
 Organize necessary items for staff as requested. (stamp, ID card, visiting card)
 Any other relevant tasks assigned by line manager.

Critical interfaces
By interfaces, NRC means processes and projects that are interlinked with other
departments/units or persons. Relevant interfaces for this position are:

 HR staffs from all project areas


 Support Coordinator
 HR/Admin Coordinator (Country Office)
 All staff from Area/Field Offices

2. Competencies

 Understanding of field level context will be an asset.

2. Behavioral competencies

3. Performance Management
