Good morning Sir and classmates ,in this opportunity .

My team are going to talk about the

input devices and their evolution over time.

We can define the devices that have the function of entering data and control signals to
the computer system and some input devices are:

 The keyboard
The keyboard QWERTY was invented in 1868 by Christopher Sholes.
is an input device inspired in part by a typewriter keyboard, uses a system of keys
that act as a mechanical joystick that sends all the information to the computer.
 joysticks
it was invented in 1909 by George Stick
The first joysticks were an input device that consisted of a lever that rotates on a base
and reports its direction to the device that controls it. Currently the joystick changed
shape and has buttons. The joystick can be used as a gamer controller for video games.
 A barcode scanner
it was invented in 1940 by Joseph Woodland
is an electronic device that can read a barcode with a laser and emit the number
displayed by the barcode instead of an image.
 A scanner
it was invented in 1984 by Raymond Kurzweil
is a input device that optically reads and image and converts it into a digital signal. In
other words, a scanner may be used to convert a printed picture, drawing, or
document into a digital file which can be edited on a computer.
 Touchpad
It was invented in 1888
The touchpad that allows you to control a cursor or facilitate navigation through a
menu or any graphical interface. They are generally of rectangular shape and
accompanied by one or two buttons that represent the buttons on a mouse.
 The fingerprint sensor
It was invented in 1893 by IriScan, Inc
it is a device that can read, save and recognize fingerprints. They are used in
computers, smartphones and tablets and have integrated this system because it is the
device that provides maximum security.
 Kinect
It was invented in 1893 by Microsoft
is a game controller for game consoles games. Kinect allows users to recognize
gestures, voice commands, objects and images through a natural user interface,
without having than making physical contact .
In this image we can obserb a adapter for computer use.

Conclusion:

 We can conclude about the input devices that as the years progressed, they had a
great advance, at the beginning they began to create various types of input devices
while at present there is creation and updating of input devices.
 Today's keyboard is better than a typewriter because you can correct a mistake in the
process.
 The touchpad is as easy to control as a mouse, but a mouse is best for increased
playability.
