29th March, 2010:- Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group was presented with the Asia Pacific Project Sponsor of
the Year. Sasan Ultra Mega Power Projectand Delhi Airport Express Link were also conferred with the prestigious
Indian Deal of the Year - Power and Deal of the Year - Rail sectors respectively. The Awards were presented in the
presence of distinguished attendees from the world of business and finance at a gala Awards Function in Mumbai, on
29th March, 2010.

"We are delighted to have won this award for Sasan UMPP. The deal is first such project to reach financial closure
without multilateral or foreign commercial banking commitments in the quickest possible time world-wide- the $3
billion debt is India's largest ever project financing sourced solely from domestic lenders against a backdrop of global
financial crisis. We look forward to build this world class infrastructure facility"noted Mr Jayarama Chalasani, Reliance
Power'sChief Executive Officer.

The $589 million Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group's Delhi Airport Express link is the first privately developed
and financed section of Delhi Metro and a significant step forward in the development of transport PPP in India.

"Project Finance congratulates Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, for pulling off such huge financial deals, when
India has gone down in sync with other markets in the recent global financial turmoil," said Sean Keating, Project
Finance Magazine's managing editor. The ProjectSponsor of the Year awardreflects both the quality of the project
financings that elements of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group closed in 2009, and its standing as one of
India's leading infrastructure and energy developers."

Entries were independently vetted and shortlisted via a weighting system based on innovation, deal repeatability, best
practice, problem solving, risk mitigation, value for money and speed of delivery in the financing of infrastructure
projects, large or small. The final decisions were made via a further, more detailed, weighting system. 300-400
portfolios of entries were received for the awards.
