● Taught a 5th grade class of 33 students, 18 Hybrid Students and 15 Virtual Students
○ Taught virtually, transitioning into a partially in-person hybrid model in October
○ Used RACE responses in a novel study on Windcatcher, teaching them to color coding their responses so they could
more easily check their work
● Taught 8th Grade English/History to a class of 53 Students
○ Integrated both of my subjects to teach them about poetry structure and historical narratives, having them analyze and
create rap battles about historical figures.
○ Transitioned successfully to teaching virtually, making sure students were still put through a rigorous education,
involving both synchronous and asynchronous work
● Taught a Kindergarten class of 25 students
○ Taught ELA lessons integrated with Science/Social studies curriculum
○ Integrated hand motions into my math lessons, helping students understand concepts by combining movement with
mathematical language
