Full Rehabilitation of 11KV Electrical Feeder from Al-Jarayshi Electrical Substation to Al-Hamdhiyah District

General Obligations Included within the Contract Cost:
1- All required works in the project, electrical transformers and materials are subjected to the Specifications of the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity. The measurements of all quantities of the
implemented works will be calculated based on the actual findings and dimensions according to the engineering specifications.

2- All used materials, electrical transformers and materials must be new and subjected to the necessary laboratory tests both inside and outside the country as required. UNDP engineers have
the right to re-test any materials in the project in a different laboratory for some cases.

3- The contractor is required to obtain an official approval by the supervisory committee before supplying any required materials, devices, systems...etc. or starting the implementation of any
new items; including the provision of samples, mockup, catalogues for testing/inspection required to obtain this official approval.

4- The contractor is responsible for the safety of all activities in the site including the provision of all occupational safety requirements for all employees and workers (PPE).

5- The contractor cannot demand all the quantities mentioned in the BOQ, if the final measurement will show less quantities.

6- All the concrete works in the project should be provided by approved ready mix concrete batching plant which should be subjected to all quality control tests periodically and all its gauges and
materials balances are calibrated by Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control (COSQR). The calibration certificates must be in force and not-expired.

7- The contractor is required to provide and Install a prefabricated office of two rooms at least including kitchen and toilet for the supervisory committee of the project with all required
furniture, electrical, mechanical and communications services. Also, it is required to provide only a one means of transport with its driver for the following-up of the project implementation by
the committee.

8- The contractor is responsible for repairing and maintaining for any damage that occurs in roads or in the networks of the communications, water, sewage or postal service when installing the
electrical materials which mentioned in the BOQ during implementing the project.

9- The maintenance works of the defect liability period (12 months) includes all civil and electrical works.

A- Supplying and Installing Galvanized Steel Poles with Their Accessories
1 Galvanized Tubular Steel Pole of 11m height
Supply and install galvanized tubular steel pole of 11m heighand Turkish origin or equivalent which should be approved by the supervisory
committee before starting supplying process, the work includes excavation in any soil type for the pole hole according to the required depth,
spreading two layer of sub-base layer “Class B” shall be applied in layers of 25 cm thick, watered, leveled and well compacted, casting the concrete
base of the pole of 60 x 60 x 210 cm dimensions outside the excavated hole with plain concrete of 21 Mpa compressive strength using steel mold
and sulphate resistant cement, coating the concrete base from all sides with two layers of liquid bitumen primer for waterproofing (flancote), filling
the sides of the excavation using compacted sub-base layers class B with well compaction to all surrounding area of the pole, supplying and
connecting copper wire 50 mm² and 1.5 length for earthing system with all required accessories, removing the debris to a dump site approved by the Ea. 380 $0.00
relevant authority, with all connection and installation accessories and all the required works to complete the work. See the pole specifications in

2 Galvanized Lattice Steel Pole of 11m height

Supply and install double circuit galvanized lattice steel pole Turkish origin or equivalent which should be approved by the supervisory committee
before starting supplying process, the work includes excavation in any soil type for the pole hole according to the required depth, spreading two
layer of sub-base layer “Class B” shall be applied in layers of 25 cm thick, watered, leveled and well compacted, casting the concrete base of the pole
of 60 x 80 x 210 cm dimensions outside the excavated hole with plain concrete of 21 Mpa compressive strength using steel mold and sulphate
resistant cement, coating the concrete base from all sides with two layers of liquid bitumen primer for waterproofing (flancote), filling the sides of
the excavation using compacted sub-base layers class B with well compaction to all surrounding area of the pole, supplying and connecting copper
wire 50 mm² and 1.5 length for earthing system with all required accessories and stay wire with all its accessories and concrete base according to the Ea. 60 $0.00
approved specifications, removing the debris to a dump site approved by the relevant authority, with all connection and installation accessories and

3 11kV Pin Insulator with Spindle

Supply, install and connect 11 KV pin insulator with spindle of Turkish origin or equivalent which should be approved by the supervisory committee
before starting supplying process, with all connection and installation accessories, bolts and all the required works to complete the work. See the pin Ea. 1330 $0.00

4 11kV Disk Insulator

Supply, install and connect 11 KV disk insulator of Turkish origin or equivalent which should be approved by the supervisory committee before
starting supplying process with its accessories (couple disks of 11kV with the ring, socket A, A and U bolt),with all connection and installation
accessories, and all the required works to complete the work. Please see the disk Insulator specifications in attached Annex A (D-24) and compliance Ea. 370 $0.00

5 Standard Galvanized Channel of 120 cm Length and 4 inch Size

Supply and install galvanized C channel of 120 cm length, 4 inch size and 5 mm thick with clamps and screws according to the specifications of the
Ministry of Electricity, the channel must have suitable holes, with all connection and installation accessories and all the required works to complete Ea. 380 $0.00

6 Standard Galvanized Channel of 140 cm Length and 4 inch Size

Supply and install galvanized C channel of 140 cm length, 4 inch size and 5 mm thick with clamps and screws according to the specifications of the

Annex B, with all connection and installation accessories, terminals, metal parallel groove connectors (Aluminum-Aluminum) and (Aluminum-

Supply, Install, connect, test and commission 11 kV cable of 3x150 mm2 size and three core power cable 12/20 (24) kV, XLPE Insulated, copper core
armored. The work includes, installing,pulling and laying the cable in cable trench inside and outside Al-Jarayshi substation and under the Highway
which determined in attached Annex B , all installation and connection accessories and fittings. The cables must be one length, ie, it is not

9 11 KV Outdoor Cable Termination

Supply, install, connect and test 11 KV outdoor cable termination for 11 KV cable of 3x150 mm2 according to the specifications of the Ministry of

10 11 KV Indoor Cable Termination

Supply, install, connect and test 11 KV Indoor cable termination for 11 KV cable of 3x150 mm2 according to the specifications of the Ministry of

C- Supply, Install, Connect, Test and Commission Break Switches with Their Accessories
11KV,630A Load Break Switch ( On Load Switch)
Supply, install, connect, test and commission 11 KV pole mounted
load break switch (on load switch) of 630 capacity according to the specifications of the Ministry of Electricity, with all connection and installation
11 accessories, and all the required works to complete the work. See the load break switch specifications in attached Annex A (D-41)and compliance Ea. 2.0 $0.00

12 11 KV, 3 pole Outdoor Off Load Break Switch (11 KV knife switch)
Supply, install, connect, test and commission 11 KV, three pole and 1000 Amp outdoor air break switch (11 KV knife switch) according to the
specifications of the Ministry of Electricity, with all connection and installation accessories, and all the required works to complete the work. Ea. 2.0 $0.00

13 Surge Arrester of 11 kV capacity

Supply, install and connect surge arrester of 11 kV capacity and Turkish origin or equivalent which should be approved by the supervisory committee
before starting supplying process, with all connection and installation accessories and all the required works to complete the work, according to the Set 1 $0.00

14 Earth Rod Copper Bar

Supply, install and connect earth rod copper bar of 1/2 inch diameter and 1.5m length with clamp and bolts according to the specifications of the
Ministry of Electricity, with all connection and installation accessories and all the required works to complete the work. Ea. 1 $0.00

15 PVC Insulated Single Core LV Cu Cable of 1x50 mm2

Supply, install and connect PVC insulated single core LV Cu cable of 1x50 mm2 of Turkish origin or equivalent which should be approved by the
supervisory committee before starting supplying process to connect the surge arrester set and electrical transformer with earth rod copper bars,
with all connection and installation accessories, cable terminals (lugs), metal parallel groove connectors (Aluminum-Copper) according to the cable
size, stainless steel T-bolt and preformed band clamps and all the required works to complete the work. See the cable specifications in attached M.l 10 $0.00

D- Cable Trench and Laying The Cable

16 Cable Trench Outside the Substation
Supply materials, tools, heavy construction equipment and manpower to excavate the cable trench in any soil type, the work includes the following:
A- excavation of cable trench path of 80 cm width and 150cm depth.
B- Spreading 20 cm thick of river sand layer under the cable with well compaction, after that laying the cable in the trench.
C- Spreading 20 cm thick of river sand layer above the cable with well compaction.
D- Putting concrete tiles of 5 cm thick and width not less than 40 cm.
E- Spreading clean soil above the concrete tiles of 20 cm thick with well compaction
F- Laying Yelow Underground Warning Tape along cables path of 30 cm width
G- Spreading sub-base layers " Class B” of 75cm thick in layers not exceeding 25 cm per layer, including compaction up to 95% of MDD to comply
with the modified proctor test. The price should include, use of asphalt road cutting machine to cut the asphalt pavement layers of the street which
located in front of the substation and laying the cable inside PVC pipe of 10 bar and appropriate diameter (Sleeve), casting the cable trench path M.l 300 $0.00
using reinforcement sulphate resistance concrete with BRC layer of 6 mm thick, the compressive strength for concrete not less than of 21 Mpa, 15
cm thick and smooth surface, the cable trench path should be approved by the end user before excavation process, and all the works required to
complete the Job.
