1 SOCIAL FORESTRY
During the year 2019, the total wealth generation due to wood
harvest was RS. 32.82 crores for poor and marginal farmers.

The programme focuses on creating


various commercial uses of land for
smallholder farmers through tree -
based farming to earn incomes while
fostering food, fodder and fuelwood
security.
The programme is closely aligned to the
'National Agro - Forestry Policy, 2014,
which emphasis on the improvement of
productivity, employment,, income and
livelihood of farmers.

pulpwood and fuelwood availability in

5.4 WOMEN ULTRA POOR WOMEN
