I. Sentence Analysis

My father has been working on this delayed assignment all morning which was
going to set him up for a big promotion at his workplace.
a) Identify the sentence type giving reason.
b) Change it into a Simple one.
c) Create an adjectival phrase for ‘workplace’ using adjectives, adverb and
conjunction.
d) Change the Present Perfect Continuous tense to Simple Past.
e) Identify the non-finite verb and state its kind.

II. Journal Writing

1. You’ve had a major change in your life recently. Either it has been extremely
happier than before or completely saddening. What is the dominant emotion in
your life right now? Write down your experience in a journal.

2. In the current scenario, schools have been organizing online classes and
activities to keep the children engaged. Write a journal about your experience
of participating in an online celebration where each student was expected to
contribute by an expression of his /her talent.
