ANNEXURE-II

Technology Offered

In FBBR/ MBBR Technology, the biomass spontaneously gets fixed to the Bio Media and
helps Microbes to grow and multiply there. This is among the most effective bio
reactors used in wastewater treatment. The large bio film-liquid interfacial area, high
interfacial velocities and good mass transfer characteristics are the main features of
this type of reactors. The superior performance of the FBBR/ MBBR stems from the very
high biomass concentration (30-40 kg/m3) that is achieved due to immobilization of
cells onto and /or into the solid particles.

SEWAGE TREATMENT PROCESS

Wastewater generated from toilets, bathrooms, kitchens is collected via series of drains
and is collected in sewage collection tank which is fully enclosed and covered with slab.
Oil & grease trap is provided in collection tank. Collected sewage is treated as per
process given below:

 SCREENING

Solid particles such as clothes, plastics etc are trapped in bar screen and removed
manually with help of spade. Screen is cleaned regularly so as to avoid any blockages.
Screened matter is collected and stored in drum for disposal.

 SEWAGE TRANSFER TO AEROBIC FLUDIZED MEDIA BIO REACTOR

Two submersible sewage pump (operated with help of level controller) of @ 10mtr head
capacity is provided in sewage collection tank. This pump steadily delivers the wastewater
in to aerobic bio reactor where huge consortium of active biomass is maintained with help
of specially designed PP non clog cubes which provides high surface area for biomass
development.

Oxygen required for biomass development is provided with the help of twin lobe air
blowers (1 working + 1 standby). In FBBR/ MBBR, biomass is maintained in range of 20 to
30Kg/cum in contrast to only 3 to 5 kg /cum which is available in suspended activated
sludge process. Due to such higher concentration of biomass available, treatment of
wastewater is achieved with minimum retention time of 3 to 4 hours which otherwise
would require 5 to 6 hours. These microorganisms consumed the organic matter present in
sewage and reproduce.

Since most of biomass is attached on the pp media, sludge formation from this process is
minimum and also Sludge recirculation is not required. Overflow from the FBBR/MBBR is
discharged at the bottom of the lamella clarifier.

 FLOCCULATION & CLARIFICATION OF BIOMASS

In lamella clarifier solid particles get collected in deep hopper and are removed on inbuilt
sludge drying bed where it gets de watered. Clarified wastewater is then discharged in
filter feed sump.

 TERTIARY TREATMENT:

Clarified effluent is then pumped with the help of filter feed pump through dual media
filter where all solid particles and organic Odour, if any, gets removed. Treated water is
disinfected online with the help of sodium Hypochlorite.

Treated water is stored in underground treated water storage tank and to be used for
gardening and toilet flushing.

 SLUDGE HANDLING & DISPOSAL:

Sludge from lamella clarifier is removed once in three days on inbuilt drying bed.
Dewatered sludge is sundried and is used as manure for gardening.

A. FEES: M/s. Envergy Projects Ltd., Vadodara shall supply as per Annexure I, II, III, IV & V and
exclusions for Apple Green-2,Rajkot.

B. Price Basis: The above price is ex-our works, unpacked condition.

C. Transportation: We shall dispatch the material from our work place on ‘To Pay’ basis.

F. Unloading at site, Safe storage & Shifting at execution site: Client scope.

G. Transit Insurance: Client scope.

H. Terms of Payment:

 50% advance along with Purchase Order

 40% including all taxes & duties shall be paid against Proforma invoice prior to dispatch
from our works.
 10% after installation & commissioning or within 1 month from the date of dispatch
whichever is earlier.

I. Inspection: At our works prior to dispatch at your cost. The inspection shall be visual and will
not include any performance or operating tests. We shall provide test certificates from the
manufacturers (of important equipment only), if you like. For producing goods for
inspection, we shall intimate to you when the goods are ready for shipment. You will have
to get the inspection done within 4 days of our notice. If the inspecting agency fails to show
up during this period, we shall presume that you have waived off the inspection clause and
we shall under intimation to you ship the consignment without inspection.
J. Delivery Period: Ex-our works, within 12-14 weeks from the date of receipt of techno-
commercially accepted Purchase Order or receipt of advance whoever is later.

K. Erection & Commissioning: Erection charges are included in our scope.

L. All disputes within Rajkot jurisdiction only.

M. All payments by: DD/Cheque payable at Vadodara in favor of M/s. Envergy Projects Ltd.,
Vadodara within 10 days from the date of bill submission, TIN Number must be intimated to
us well in advance before invoicing. In case of delay 2% per month interest of the bill
amount shall be charged on client & further delay shall compel M/s. Envergy Projects Ltd.,
Vadodara, to suspend all operations with 24 hrs notice with no responsibility & liability
whatsoever.

N. EXCLUSIONS: M/s. Envergy Projects Ltd.,Vadodara shall undertake the assignment with
following exclusions:

1. All civil & structural support work required for sewage treatment plant including paving
in plant area, foundations, process drains in client scope.
2. Incoming sewage water up to raw sewage pumps.
3. Consumables/ Utilities/ Chemicals for testing, commissioning and plant operation.
4. Supply/ laying and termination of incoming power cables up to local electrical panel.
5. Any emergency/ critical power supply.
6. Any other studies or modification of the scope shall be carried out with extra costs.
7. Liaison work (if any) will not be in scope of EPL
8. Our contract is subjected to the force majeure clause. Any delay due to war,
Emergency, revolution, accident fire, flood or any such natural calamities which are
beyond our control.
9. Any kind of loading unloading work is excluded from our scope.
10. Renewal of consents/MOEF clearances is not included in these services.
11. Lighting at installation area.
12. Service tax will be charged extra at on supervision of commissioning/ training Charges.
13. All statutorily Government approvals, if any.

O. VALIDITY: Unless previously revoked, our offer is valid for 15 days from the date of this
proposal.
