Description
ShaliFloor® SL 3CES is three components, water based, self levelling epoxy modified screed for
use where exceptional strength and toughness is needed and where the flooring has to be laid on
damp surface.

ShaliFloor® SL 3CES has excellent adhesion and provides good abrasion resistance and can be
laid up to 3 mm in single layer with maximum achievable thickness of 9 mm in three layers.

Application Methodology
➢ Surface Preparation
• Prepare the surface by mechanical grinding / shot blasting or other suitable method.
• Remove dust, flakes, oil, grease or other loose foreign particles by sand blasting, iron
brush or compressed air.
• In case of construction / expansion joint, repair, if any, with ShaliFix EM and seal with
ShaliSeal EMS
• Ensure that –
• Minimum age of concrete is 7 days
• Moisture content not exceeding 10 %
• Temperature ranges between 10 – 45 OC.
• Maximum gradient of the floor is 5%.

➢ Material Preparation
• Mix ShaliFloor® SL 3CES component A (Resin) & C (Filler) thoroughly by using speed
drill mixer with a spiral type blade at the bottom of stirrer rod. The speed may be 1000
rpm till homogeneous mix is obtained.
• After all of component C has been added, mix for a minimum of 5 to 10 minutes.
• Then add component B (Hardener) slowly ensuring complete dispersion.
• After stirring, wait for the product to settle in order to let entrapped air escape.

➢ Application of Material
• Prime the prepared surface with ShaliPrime WB
• Allow it to tack dry.
• Spread the mixed material by notch trowel to get a required thickness. Apply the spike
rollers to remove the entrapped air bubbles.
• Apply subsequent layers after 24 hrs with a bond coat of ShaliPrime WB.
• Apply top coat after 72 hrs.

Health & Safety

• Avoid contact with skin / eyes and avoid swallowing
• Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid inhalation of vapour.
• Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye protection.
• In case of s k i n contact, rinse with plenty of clean water, then cleanse with soap and
water. Do not use solvent to clean the contacted area.
• In case of eye contact, wash with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice.
• If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting.

Packing
Available in 14 Kg carton consisting of Component A 2.93 Kg, Component B 1.72 Kg and
Component C 9.35 Kg.

Storage
Keep in a cool and dry place, under shed, away from heat.

Shelf Life
12 months in case of Component A & B and 9 months in case of Component C.
