1. CUTTING
From the background fabric, cut
1 square 22 3/8“ x 22 3/8“, cut into quarters diagonally to make 4 triangles (A)
1 square 15 ½“ x 15 ½“ (B)
2 squares 11 ½“ x 11 ½“, cut in half diagonally to make 4 triangles (C)
32 squares 3 7/8“ x 3 7/8“ (E)
16 squares 3 ½“ x 3 ½“ (D)
For each star, cut from assorted prints (light background fabrics are already included in the cutting notes above)
5 squares 3 ½“ x 3 ½“ (D)
8 squares 3 7/8“ x 3 7/8“ (E)
4 rectangles 6 1/2“ x 3 1/2“ (F)
Binding: 5 strips 2“ x width of fabric; sew the strips end to end for the binding.

3. ASSEMBLING THE QUILT TOP
Referring to the quilt layout diagramm lay out four blocks and the B middle square. Fill in the edges and corners with
the A and C triangles. Join into diagonal rows and join rows into a square.
