ONLINE STUDENT REACTION SURVEY 

Student reaction survey portal is available on http://172.26.142.200/survey2/ 

For access the portal student / course instructor use their OARS login id and Password. 

 
  

FOR COURSE INSTRUCTORS 
 A course instructor can login by using his/her OARS login and password for accessing online 
survey module. As an Instructor you can do the following for conducting the Online Survey 
setting on the server. 

 Assign / Remove the master database for his/her course  

 Maintain the Course Instructor & co‐instructor for your course. 

 Maintain the Tutors for your course, which are involve in the Section wise. 

 Maintain the Lab Tutors for the same course and their master data base. 

 Can Change the Survey Starting date  & time and Ending Date & Time. 

 Can Manage the Survey access points where the Students can fill the forms. The 
unchecked boxes will restrict to the students and they cannot fill the forms, from 
particular locations.  

 
  

 STEP‐1 :   After successfully logging to the survey module (using the OARS login and 
Password), the First page for the instructor will come on the screen, the list of courses will 
appear on the screen for which you are the Instructor. You have to select each course and 
update the information for conducting the survey.  

Please note down the courses which are Zero credit,  Seminar, Thesis, Presentation etc are not 
display on the drop down list. 

  

 After selecting the course, following page will display. Where instructor can update the value of 
A, B and C part of the survey.  
 A

A. An  Instructor  can  add  the  co‐instruction  names  using  the  link  “If  you  want  to  change  the 
instructor please click here”, the following can update the instructor information. 

B. The Venue where the survey  can be access, it can be change by the course instructor and the 
check box values are allowed to students, and Blank check box restrict the students to access 
the survey forms form the given labs or Halls etc.  

C. Starting  date & time as well as ending or closing  date & time for conducting the survey can be 
set by the course instructor by this option. 

D. A tutor can be added on click of the link “If you want to change the tutor please click here” in 
the following diagrams. 
  

E. A  lab.  Instructor  can  be  added  on  click  of  the  link  “If  you  want  to  change  the  lab  instructor 
please click here” in the following diagrams. 

 NOTE: Once you set the venue, Date and Timing for the survey, and if its released  the 
course instructor cannot change or stop it, only the OARS team can change it.  

 During  the  survey  release  the  Students  forms  comment  cannot  be  check,  it  will  be 
allow after the ending date. 

 Once you decided the Venue, date & time for survey please communicate the same to 
the registered student using the courses aliases of your course.

 FOR STUDENTS 
1. A student needs to login by using his/her OARS login and password for access online survey 
module.  

2. After  get  logged‐in,  the  following  page  will  be  displayed.  He/she  needs  to  click  on  “Give‐
Feedback”  button  in  last  column  in  page  below  for  commencing  the  survey  of  a  particular 
course. 

3. Then the survey form for that particular course is opened as in the following diagrams. Student 
needs to choose the proper instructor’s name, tutor’s name (if any) and lab. Instructor’s name 
(if any) for conducting the survey for that particular course.

4.  In case of more than one instructor for a course, after filling the choices for first instructor student 
needs to click on “Save” button, and continue the survey for the remaining co‐instructors for the 
particular course. This process should be repeated until survey for all instructors has been completed. 
After completing the survey for all instructors, student needs to click on “Submit” button. Now the 
survey will be completed.
