Introduction:
We are writing this proposal to present a solution to
a problem in the faculty of engineering, the
upgrading of the elevator in the electricity building.
The electricity building in the faculty of engineering
is an 8 floor building that has only one elevator for
students to use. Most of the time that elevator is not
working or under construction. Almost all of the
students have lectures, sections, or labs to attend in
that building every day. And going up the stairs
almost every day for 2-3 times per day is a waste of
time and energy. Especially in summer, some of the
students have weak bodies and because of the heat
they could collapse.
Discussion:
Instead of continuously changing different parts of
the elevator, we think that changing the whole
elevator with its parts and upgrading it will solve
this problem.
First all of the parts and the whole elevator will be
removed. Secondly New parts and a new elevator
will be bought. Thirdly there will be reconstruction
of the side of the building for the new elevator as it
will be larger than the old one to be able to carry
more students which will be faster and more
efficient.
fourthly : with the equipment provided by our
company we will replace the old elevator with the
new one.
Resources:
The Arab Contractors will be providing 20 workers
to work on this project while providing all the
machines necessary.
First the old elevator will be removed safely and
then we will reconstruct the side of the building to
adjust it to the new elevator. Later the new, more
efficient elevator will be installed in place if the old
elevator.
Cost:
  Workers cost: 60,000 LE
 Machines cost: 120,000 LE
 New elevator costs 200,000 LE
Total cost: 380,000 LE

Time:
The estimated time for the completion of this project
would be 3 months. Even though the weather might
affect our work but that wouldn’t stop us from
completing on time.
Conclusion:
This project will help the students save their time
and energy. And it would also benefit heir health
greatly. By saving the students time and energy, the
project will be able to help them concentrate on their
studies and become successful engineers.
