among the people of Bangladesh . This is highest percentage of brand awareness achieved by any local and foreign company .
Other than the customers ,all people in Bangladesh knows about Grameenphone . The brand image that the company has
today, is mostly valuable because of its doing business in a socially responsible way and providing quality service . As
Grameenphone is the leading telecommunication company in Bangladesh so its rare for other companies to have a brand
image as good as Grameenphone . The second leading telecommunication company in Bangladesh is robi with 46.88 millions
subscribers . Grameenphone has outclassed its rival by a large margin , so it would very be very costly to imitate for robi to
reach the height of Grameenphone . Grameenphone is an organization that can capture the values through their vast
resources , structure and management system . Through vrio framework it can be determined that this capabilities of

of all the telecommunication companies in bangladesh . As of 2019 January to April Grameenphone has earned a record
breaking revenue of 3 ,3490 corer taka in the first quarter . The market leader also earned Tk 890 crore net profit with a
growth of 25.6 per cent . The amount of vast resources and capital Gp posses , that alone creates value for Grameenphone. It
is very rare as other telecommunication companies to reach the same height as Grameenphone regarding financial position .
In 2018 grammenphone earned record breaking Tk 3520 profit , which is highest at the time with the 28.47 percent increase of
profit compare to 2017 . The second market leader of telecommunication didn’t even earned the half what Grameenphone
has earned .It would be very costly to imitate for other telecommunications company to reach the same as gp regarding
financial position . Grameenphone has reached this pinnacle only through their quality service , updated technology and
management system over the years . It would have been better if Grameenphone could reduce talktime charge to attract

improve more of their network coverage, Grameenphone should put base tower in some hilly areas (Rangamati , bandarban
etc ) where the sound is not clear when talking . So it can be said that this strength of Grameenphone can considered as
