In certain situations, a company may have to announce a bad news to its employees or
customers. The business may expect that the reader would be surprised with regard to the bad
news. In such situations rather than simply putting forth the news, an indirect approach must be
adopted.

The employee or the customer must be provide a suitable explanation for the bad news. The
news must be carefully and strategically planned. A proper buffer must be taken with regard to
the beginning. The reader must be accept the bad new that is being presented slowly.

In addition, an attempt must be made to end the news on a positive note.
