LEARNING OUTCOMES:
Students will be able to
Understand the magnetic field concept using experiments
Derive the Biot-Savart law and Ampere’s Circuital law
Analyze the applications of ampere’s law, toroidal solenoids
Derive the expression for force on a moving charge in uniform magnetic field and electric field
Understand the Moving coil galvanometer
Get conceptual idea of Conversion of moving coil galvanometer into ammeter and voltmeter, current sensitivity
