LEARNING OUTCOMES:
Students will be able to
 Understand the magnetic field concept using experiments
 Derive the Biot-Savart law and Ampere’s Circuital law
 Analyze the applications of ampere’s law, toroidal solenoids
 Derive the expression for force on a moving charge in uniform magnetic field and electric field
 Understand the Moving coil galvanometer
 Get conceptual idea of Conversion of moving coil galvanometer into ammeter and voltmeter, current sensitivity
