MISSION STATEMENT
The Office of the City Prosecutor-Bacoor City, Cavite (OCP-Bacoor City) is committed
in giving the people of Bacoor City public service of utmost fidelity, competence, independence,
and integrity with a view of doing justice to every man.
Our Office pledge to prosecute all violators of our criminal laws, without fear or favor.
OCP – Bacoor City undertakes to do this while protecting and without compromising the rights
of the innocent.
VISION STATEMENT
OCP- Bacoor City foresees a progressive and peaceful City of Bacoor, with Bacooreños
living under the protection of the rule of law, and blessings of a regime of truth, equality,
freedom and justice.

Otherwise, the investigation may be held summarily and case may be resolved by the
investigating prosecutor based on the pieces of documentary evidence submitted before the
office.
B. Inquest Proceedings
An inquest is an informal and summary investigation conducted by the public prosecutor in a
criminal case involving persons arrested and detained without the benefit of a warrant of
arrest issued by the court for the purpose of determining whether said persons should remain
under custody and correspondingly be charged in court.
