Initial Start-Up
PPower Supply
TThe Trusonic III caan be operated witth an external pow
wer supply throughh AC/DC adaptor or o with built-in Lithium-Ion battery paack.
Itt can also be poweered through the universal
u power suupply (battery chaarger) from any staandard AC outlet voltage
v 100-240V

Charging the Battteries
Innternal Chargingg
Iff a battery is located in the instrumeent, the charging pprocess is start automatically when you
y connect the plug-in
p power suppply unit. The instruument can be usedd
w
while the battery iss being charged. The
T charging time is approx.8 hourss with turn it off andd 10 hours with turn on. This charging time applies too ambient
teemperatures from 25-30 degree C. Please take into cconsideration that the battery pack is not charged to their
t full capacity at
a higher temperattures.
TThe LED indicator on the plug-in pow wer supply unit inddicates the status of the charging prrocess.
FFirstly plug the pow m power (100-2240VAC), The LED indicator on the Power supply/Chharger indicates the status of the chaarging process.

WWhen battery fully charged, the charrger LED indicatorr will turn from redd into green.
EExternal Chargingg
TThe battery can alsso be recharged by
b plugging the poowder adaptor direectly into the conneector below the slootted screw on thee battery pack.

SStarting the TruSoonic III
TTo start the Trusonnic III, press key to power on
TThe start display of the Trusonic III appears
a a flash baar with instrument logo and softwaree version.
TThe system will carry out a self-checck and then switchhes over to the staand-by mode.
TThe setting of all fuunction values andd the basic settingg are same as prioor to the instrumennt being turn off.
