As Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, I know Mr. Adnan Qamar for over five
years as a student of Bachelors of Science in Telecommunication Engineering and later on as a
full time faculty member. I have witnessed his steady academic growth and professional
development both as a student and as faculty member. After his graduation he was selected as
lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering through a very competitive selection
process.

As a lecturer at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, he has taken and completed

every assignment with dedication and enthusiasm. He is hardworking, self motivated, punctual
and capable of completing projects both in groups and individually.

Mr. Adnan Qamar was student in my courses of “Introduction to Electrical Engineering”,

“Electric Circuits II” and “Optical Communications”. I Know Mr. Adnan Qamar as a competent,
active, diligent and very polite student.

As an Engineer with specialization in Telecommunications, he is well versed with Wireless

Communications, Optical Communications, Analog and Digital Communication Systems and
Standards. He is also well versed in different software packages like MS Office, MATLAB,
Trilogy, OrCAD.

In my opinion he possesses the essential qualities to excel at the postgraduate level in this
particular program due to his relevant knowledge and experience. I have no hesitation in
recommending him.
