Once upon a time, all rishis and munis of

Himalayas, naimisharanya, arbudaranya, and
pushkar assembled in the PRAYAAG
TEERTHAM for MAAGHA month holy bath
They all prayed to Narayana and
did tarpanam to pitrus.

They had a darshan of

Bharadwaja muni over there.

They offered puja to Bharadwaja

muni and took his blessings.

They were all discussing the

leelas of Shri Krishna
At that time, the disciple of Veda
Vyasa, named Sootji entered
that place.

All of them were happy to

discuss the leelas of Lord Shri
Krishna

The discussion went further and

Bharadwaja Muni asked the
following question.
In the past, we had attended a
yagna conducted by Rishi
Shaunak, and at that time, we
had the opportunity to listen to
"VARAAHA SAMHITA" from
you.

Now we would like to utilize this

opportunity and listen to
"NARASIMHA PURANAM" from
you.

For this purpose, we all have

assembled here today.
We would like to know from you the
following things.

What is the origin of this Universe?

Who is protecting this Universe?

Where does this Universe finally get

dissolved into?

What are that karmas that make Lord

Narasimha happy?

How do all gods offer their devotion

to Lord Narasimha?
