Alleged shooting incident transpired on or about 8 AM of NOVEMBER 10, 2018 during
a rainy day at #123 PUROK 3 BARANGAY GIBRALTAR, BAGUIO CITY. Victim was
identified as JUN T. ENCARNACION, 35 years old, male, with a height of 6’11”,
employed as a vegetable dealer in Hanger market, Baguio City. According to the
witness, Anne Polo, her daughter, 19 years old, second year college student of
University of Baguio, studying Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, that her Dad was
eating breakfast while she was watching television at the sala. Afterwards, she heard
their door was broken by a man and shot her father two times as he hurried to escape
leaving his gun. Suspect was allegedly identified as ERICK PAGAS alias “RIKRIK”
who was seen to be wearing blue shirt and black jeans during the incident,
approximately 6’2” in height with small body build, having a white complexion.
The undersigned investigating officer was able to retrieve from the crime scene the
following ballistics evidences:
a) A suspected Caliber .45 Pistol Firearm with Serial No. 1945136, recovered 7ft
away from the door, marked as GRC-1-11/10/18.
b) Two (2) pieces of fired cartridges from a suspected cal. 45 pistol recovered inside
the house 3ft from the door marked on the inside near the mouth as GRC-2-
11/10/18 and GRC-3-11/10/18.
c) One (1) piece of fired bullet head from a suspected Caliber .45 Pistol firearm
recovered from the wall of the kitchen 5ft from where the victim was allegedly shot
and 3’5” from the floor marked as GRC-4-11/10/18.
Attached are:
1. Fifteen (15) photographs; three (3) general views, Four (4) medium range view,
six (6) close up views and five (5) extreme close up views.
2. Finished and initial sketch of the crime scene and the locations of the evidences.
Witness was able to formally write her statement regarding the incident as she was
invited to the investigation division. Pieces of recovered ballistics evidences were sent
to the Baguio City Crime Laboratory Office for scientific examinations. Cadaver was
moved to La Paz Funeral Homes for the conduct of autopsy by Dr. Rodrigo L. Leal, after
the documentation of the crime scene. Photos of suspect, Erick Pagas, who is still at
large had already been distributed to medias for immediate arrest.
