Service Note: Set of Caps for sheath and waste Bottle (incl. Filter)
For CyFlow® Counter II (CY-S-3022)Serial No. 070700122 to 080616022

Warning: All systems used to analyze biohazardous and carcinogenic materials (infectious materials, dyes),
must be decontaminated before exposure to persons who are unlikely to apply proper contaminated
materials handling techniques. In case of accidental contact, wash your skin thoroughly with soap
and disinfectant. Always wear protective gloves when working with the BioSafety Sample Port, Flow
Cuvette or tubings.

Product description:

This set of caps should be only used for CyFlow® Counter II from Serial No. 070700122 to 080616022.

The filter which is attached to the air tube of the waste bottle cap will close automatically in the unlikely event
of waste liquid entering the air tube.

If this filter should be closed because of waste liquid entered the air tube please exchange the filter as
described below.

Installation of sheath and waste bottle cap at the CyFlow® Counter II:
Note: Make sure that the instrument is switched off.
1. Disconnect the air, sheath and waste tube from the back of the instrument.
2. Disconnect the level sensor for sheath and waste.
3. Connect the new set of caps to the instrument. (Fig.1)

Changing the filter of the waste bottle cap:

Note: Make sure that the instrument is switched off.
1. Pull off the air tube from both sides of the filter and remove the old filter from the air tube.
2. Make sure that there is no liquid in the air tube anymore.
3. Place the new filter (Fig.3) and attach the air tubes at both sides.

Attention:
Place the filter into the air tube that the label of the filter points away from the instrument!
