Owing to the continued growth and high demand for its services, SgurrEnergy’s Pune office
intends to recruit Engineer– Hydrologist within its Engineering team.

About the role:

The principal responsibilities essentially include:
 Process meteorological and hydrologic data
 Georeferencing, Catchment Delineation using toposheets/DEM (Digital Elevation
Model) and Google Earth using QGIS/Arc GIS
 Rainfall-Runoff analysis
 Hydrological Analysis
 Flood modelling works including 1D ,2D and Combination of 1D-2D Hydraulic and
hydrological modelling with industry best software’s (HEC RAS, HEC-HMS, MIKE,
TUFLOW etc).
 Should be conversant with FEH (Flood estimation handbook)
 Site visits and preparation of visit reports.
 Experienced in designing Storm water drainage systems for Roadways/
Railways/highways within India/Overseas
 Should be conversant with Indian/Global standards of practice.
 Should be able to assist in approval discussions with Client.
 Should be able to prepare design reports and assist in the preparation of drawings.
 Knowledge of design in roadways, drainage, plumbing etc.
 Knowledge of Civil 3D for roadways, drainage, Levelling & Grading etc.

Candidate Specification:
 ME/M.tech.in Transportation/Water Resource/Environment/Hydraulic Engineering.
 Minimum 3 to 12 years of experience.
 Excellent communication skills with ability to produce high-quality technical reports
within the predefined deadline.
 Good learning and understanding capability.
 Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-disciplined team.
 Self-driven with good management & reporting capabilities.
 Competent user of main Microsoft packages like Outlook, Excel & word.
