The Balanced Matrix Organization (BMO) Type can be adopted by Wilmont’s Pharmacy due to the following reasons:
1. As a big company it must have an organization with the advantages of a functional type but at the same time must also be able to give single point of authority to
Project Managers that will handle endeavors such as the current project. Hence, a BMO type of structure must be employed.
2. It will provide a customer focus approach with improved communication and resource-sharing among functional teams.
3. The employees involved are not necessary full-time in the project so they can do other tasks for the company as per their functional teams.
