Introduction
 Prophecy is the unveiling of God’s plan and purpose for a nation, a people or an individual
– Deut. 18:21-22/ Ezk. 12:25
Deut 18:21-22
21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD

hath not spoken? 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the
thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not
spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be
afraid of him.
Ezek 12:25
25 For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to

pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I
say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD.
 Scripturally, there are 2 main sources of prophecy:
 First, from scriptures, which is said to be a more sure word of prophecy – 2 Pet. 1:19-21/ Psa.
89:34
2 Peter 1:19-21
19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye

take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and
the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the
scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old
time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the
Holy Ghost.
Ps 89:34
34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

 Secondly, from prophets sent our way – Luk. 4:25-27/ Mat. 10:41/ Deut. 18:21-22

25 But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias,

when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine
was throughout all the land; 26 But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto
Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow. 27 And many lepers
were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was
cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.
Matt 10:41
41 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a

prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a

righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.
Deut 18:21-22

 But we have a responsibility to know what it takes to experience fulfilment of prophecy, and this
is what informs our teaching series for the month – Isa. 5:1-13
Isa 5:1-13
Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard.
My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill: 2 And he fenced it, and
gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and
built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he
looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes. 3 And
now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt
me and my vineyard. 4 What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I
have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes,
brought it forth wild grapes? 5 And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to
my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and
break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down: 6 And I will lay it
waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and
thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it. 7 For the
vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his

righteousness, but behold a cry. 8 Woe unto them that join house to house, that
lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the

Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong
drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them! 12 And the harp, and the
viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the
work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands. 13 Therefore my
people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their
honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

What are Prophecies?
 Prophecies are not religious wishes but the unfolding of divine plan – Josh. 21:45

45 There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the

house of Israel; all came to pass.

 Prophecies are not psychological permutations; they are sworn verdicts – Isa. 14:24

24 The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it

come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:

 Because God speaks according to Himself, not according to us – Gen. 22:17-18/ Isa. 14:24

17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as

the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy
seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 18 And in thy seed shall all the

when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: 32 But
when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and
shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the
shadow of it.
 Every prophetic word received ignites hope – Rom. 4:18/ Rom. 15:4

 Every prophetic word received stimulates joy and rejoicing – Jer. 15:16/ Psa. 119:162

16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy

and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

162 I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.

Abraham, an example of prophecy fulfilled through praise

 A prophetic Word went forth to Abraham concerning the birth of his son of promise – Gen. 17:4-8/

nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be
Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. 6 And I will make thee

And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their
generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after
thee. 8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art
a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their
God.
Gen 18:9-14

And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent. 10
And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo,
Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind
him. 11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be
with Sarah after the manner of women. 12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself,
saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also? 13 And the
LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a
child, which am old? 14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will
return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
 But Abraham had to engage the mystery of praise to see this prophecy fulfilled – Rom. 4:16-20

Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be
sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the
faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, 17 (As it is written, I have made thee a

 God fulfilled His Word to Abraham by visiting Sarah as He has said – Gen. 21:1-6
 To see prophecies fulfilled, we must remain strong in faith, giving glory to God like Abraham did
– Rom. 4:19-21

And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had
spoken. 2 For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time
of which God had spoken to him. 3 And Abraham called the name of his son that was
born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac. 4 And Abraham circumcised his son
Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him. 5 And Abraham was an
hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him. 6 And Sarah said, God hath
made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.

What are Prophecies?
 Prophecies are not psychological predictions; they are the unveiling of divine purpose –Ezk.12:21-

21 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 22 Son of man, what is that

proverb that ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and
every vision faileth? 23 Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will make
this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but
say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision. 24 For there
shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of
Israel. 25 For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall
come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious
house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD.
 No prophecy can be fulfilled in the energy of the flesh – 1 Sam. 2:9/ Rom. 9:16

9 He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness;

for by strength shall no man prevail.

16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that

sheweth mercy.

about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two

hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD
would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold,
thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
19And that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the LORD
should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? And he said, Behold,
thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof. 20 And so it fell out
unto him: for the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died.

God: for with God all things are possible.

I, not as one that beateth the air: 27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into
subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself
should be a castaway.
Hab 2:1-3
I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see
what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. 2 And
the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon
tables, that he may run that readeth it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed
time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it;
because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
 Every prophetic word received alleys fears – Exo. 14:15/ Psa. 114:1-8

the children of Israel, that they go forward:

When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange
language; 2 Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion. 3 The sea saw it,
and fled: Jordan was driven back. 4 The mountains skipped like rams, and the
little hills like lambs. 5 What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou
Jordan, that thou wast driven back? 6 Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams;
and ye little hills, like lambs? 7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord,
at the presence of the God of Jacob; 8 Which turned the rock into a standing
water, the flint into a fountain of waters.
Joseph, an example of prophecy fulfilled through praise
 Joseph saw into his future through his God given dream (prophetic insight) – Gen. 37:5-19

5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him

yet the more. 6 And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I
have dreamed: 7 For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my

about, and made obeisance to my sheaf. 8 And his brethren said to him, Shalt
thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And
they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words. 9 And he
dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have
dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven
stars made obeisance to me.
Vs:15-19
15 And a certain man found him, and, behold, he was wandering in the field:

brethren: tell me, I pray thee, where they feed their flocks. 17 And the man said,

 Joseph exhibited a lifestyle of Joy, the circumstances surrounding him notwithstanding
– Gen. 40:1-7/20-22

his baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt. 2 And Pharaoh was wroth
against two of his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the
chief of the bakers. 3 And he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the
guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound. 4 And the captain of
the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them: and they continued
a season in ward. 5 And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his
dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the
butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, which were bound in the prison. 6
And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and,
behold, they were sad. 7 And he asked Pharaoh's officers that were with him in
the ward of his lord's house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day?
Gen 40:20-22
20 And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh's birthday, that he

made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler
and of the chief baker among his servants. 21 And he restored the chief butler
unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand: 22 But he
hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them.
 But he saw prophecy fulfilled in grand styles as he became the ‘wonder ‘prime minster of Egypt
by the hand pf God which was provoked by praise – Gen. 41:9-16/37-45/ Exo. 15:11

9 Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults

this day: 10 Pharaoh was wroth with his servants, and put me in ward in the
captain of the guard's house, both me and the chief baker: 11 And we dreamed
a dream in one night, I and he; we dreamed each man according to the
interpretation of his dream. 12 And there was there with us a young man, an
Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he
interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did
interpret. 13 And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he
restored unto mine office, and him he hanged. 14 Then Pharaoh sent and called
Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved
himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh. 15 And Pharaoh
said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret
it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to
interpret it. 16 And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall
give Pharaoh an answer of peace.

37 And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his

servants. 38 And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this
is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is? 39 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph,
Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise
as thou art: 40 Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall
all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou. 41 And
Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt. 42 And
Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand, and
arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck; 43
And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried
before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt. 44
And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man
lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt. 45 And Pharaoh called Joseph's
name Zaphnath-paaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of
Poti-pherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.

11 Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in

holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

 To see prophecies fulfilled, we must rejoice like Joseph did – Gen. 39:1-5/21-22/ Gen. 40:1-7/

And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh,
captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites,
which had brought him down thither. 2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he
was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. 3
And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all
that he did to prosper in his hand. 4 And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he
served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he
put into his hand. 5 And it came to pass from the time that he had made him
overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the
Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all
that he had in the house, and in the field.

21 But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour

in the sight of the keeper of the prison. 22 And the keeper of the prison
committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and
whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.

What are Prophecies?
 No human hand can fulfill a divine agenda – Jer. 17:5-8/ 1 Cor. 15:10
Jer 17:5-8
5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh

flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. 6 For he shall be like
the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit
the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. 7 Blessed
 is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. 8 For he shall
be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the
river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and
shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding
fruit.

10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed

upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not

Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the
LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. 2 It is vain for you to rise
up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved
sleep.
 Remember God speaks according to His authority, not our inability – Mat. 8:8-13/ Mat. 26:31-35/69-75

come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

But until a prophetic Word is received, it never gets fulfilled – 2 Pet. 1:19-21/ Luk. 8:11/15/ Mak.

take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and

time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the
Holy Ghost.

having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

30 And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what

when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: 32 But

 Every prophetic word received provokes bold declarations – Mat. 10:27/ 2 Cor. 4:13

Every prophetic word received does something in you.It turns you on like
wine.
 Every prophetic word received makes one to be daring in response(it makes you misbehave to
the devil) – Exo. 7:1/ Exo. 8-14

And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and
Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.

 8 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, 9 When Pharaoh shall
speak unto you, saying, Shew a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto
Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent.
10 And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had

commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his
servants, and it became a serpent. 11 Then Pharaoh also called the wise men
and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner
with their enchantments. 12 For they cast down every man his rod, and they
became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods. 13 And he hardened
Pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said. 14 And

Hannah, an example of prophecy fulfilled through praise
 Hannah received the prophetic word from Eli, which stirred joy and rejoicing in her life, and in
turn provoked God to fulfil that prophetic word – 1 Sam. 1:13-20

13 Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was

not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken. 14 And Eli said unto her,
How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee. 15 And Hannah
answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have
drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the
LORD. 16 Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the
abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto. 17 Then Eli
answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition
that thou hast asked of him. 18 And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in
thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was
no more sad. 19 And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before
the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew
Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. 20 Wherefore it came to pass,
when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a
son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.
 To see prophecies fulfilled, we must rejoice like Hannah did – 1 Sam. 1:13-191 Samuel 1:13 Now
Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she

COVENANT DAY OF VENGEANCE -means to repay every hurting your

life and destiny.
Until the God of Vengeance Shows Up, The Wicked May Never Give Up!
…...Isa. 63:4….. Isaiah 63:4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my
redeemed is come.
➢ Vengeance is a vital aspect of God’s end-time agenda – Isa. 63:1-3Isaiah 63:1 Who is this
that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel,
travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. 63:2
Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the
winefat? 63:3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me:
for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be
sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.

Lk 4:18Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach
the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to
the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
➢ We serve a God of vengeance – Psa. 94:1Psalms 94:1 O Lord God, to whom vengeance
belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.

Gen. 12:3Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee:
and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Mal. 3:6Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not
consumed.
➢ Jesus taught us to pray vengeance prayer – Luk. 18:1-8Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable
unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; 18:2 Saying, There
was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 18:3 And there was a
widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 18:4 And
he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor
regard man; 18:5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her
continual coming she weary me. 18:6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
18:7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he
bear long with them? 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the
Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

➢ The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of vengeance – Isa. 61:1-2Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD
is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he
hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the
opening of the prison to them that are bound; 61:2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the
LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

Act 13:8-11Acts 13:8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood
them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. 13:9 Then Saul, (who also is called
Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, 13:10 And said, O full of all subtilty and
all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to
pervert the right ways of the Lord? 13:11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee,
and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a
mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.
➢ It is our redemptive right to execute vengeance upon the wicked – Psa. 149:6-9Psalms
149:6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
149:7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 149:8 To
bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 149:9 To execute upon them
the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.
➢ Until God unleashed His vengeance upon Egypt, Pharaoh never gave up – Exo. 11:1-
7 Exodus 11:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon
Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he
shall surely thrust you out hence altogether. 11:2 Speak now in the ears of the people, and let
every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver, and
jewels of gold. 11:3 And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians.
Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's
servants, and in the sight of the people. 11:4 And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About
midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt: 11:5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt
shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of
the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. 11:6 And there shall be
a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it
any more. 11:7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue,
against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between
the Egyptians and Israel.

smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of
Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. 12:23 For the LORD will pass through to smite
the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the
LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to
smite you. 12:24 And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for
ever. 12:25 And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give
you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service. 12:26 And it shall come to
pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service? 12:27 That ye
shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD's passover, who passed over the houses of the children
of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people
bowed the head and worshipped. 12:28 And the children of Israel went away, and did as the
LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they. 12:29 And it came to pass, that at
midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh
that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the
firstborn of cattle.
➢ We must give no place to the devil to corrupt our glorious destiny this year
– Eph. 4:27Ephesians 4:27 Neither give place to the devil.

Exo. 12:18Exodus 12:18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye
shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.
➢ Execution of vengeance is one major way to putting an end to the wickedness of
the wicked - Ps 7:9-13Psalms 7:9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but
establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. 7:10 My defence is of
God, which saveth the upright in heart. 7:11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry
 with the wicked every day. 7:12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow,
and made it ready. 7:13 He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth
his arrows against the persecutors.

Ecc. 8:11Ecclesiastes 8:11 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily,
therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
➢ We must invoke vengeance on all our assailants today – Is 54:14-17Isaiah 54:14 In
righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not
fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. 54:15 Behold, they shall surely gather
together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
54:16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth
forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. 54:17 No weapon
that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in
judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their
righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Is 49:24-26Isaiah 49:24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive
delivered? 49:25 But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken
away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that
contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. 49:26 And I will feed them that oppress
thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet
wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty
One of Jacob.

When you are anointed with the anointing oil,God's Spirit comes afresh on you.

1 Samuel 16:13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his
brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose
up, and went to Ramah.

Psalms 92:10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with
fresh oil.

God wants us to daily live refresh and be refilled with His Spirit.

Ephesians 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
By this anointing oil today,vengeance will come upon every work of the wicked in your
life,family,career and business .

Every spiritual limitation shall be broken.

Every sickness and disease shall be uprooted.

Your protection shall be guaranteed today.

The joy of the Lord will replace every sorrowful situation in your life and destiny
Jesus is Lord!

goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall
accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent
it.

34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon

thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that

man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. 6 Who passing

Hezekiah, an example of prophecy fulfilled through praise
 Had a verdict of death passed upon his life, which was averted in response to his cry after which
God added fifteen more years to him – Isa. 38:1-6

Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house

saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen
thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. 6 And I will deliver thee

 But he had to engage in praise to see that prophecy fulfilled – Isa. 38:18-20

18 For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go

down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. 19 The living, the living, he shall
praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy
truth. 20 The LORD was ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the
stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the LORD.
 To see prophecies fulfilled, we will continue to celebrate the prophetic word like Hezekiah did
– Isa. 38:1-6/18-20

Isaiah 38:1 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of
Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for
 thou shalt die, and not live. 38:2 Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed
unto the LORD, 38:3 And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked
before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight.

COVENANT DAY OF Exemption

Exemption means divine immunity, divine privilege, divine release,divine exception
By Redemption, We Are Not Permitted to Suffer What the World Around Us
Suffers
We saw how God exempted the Israelites from the plagues that came upon Egypt:

Swarm of flies, which connotes decadence and stench – Exo. 8:20-24

Exodus 8:20 And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he
cometh forth to the water; and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
8:21 Else, if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy
servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of
flies, and also the ground whereon they are. 8:22 And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my
people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the
midst of the earth. 8:23 And I will put a division between my people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign
be. 8:24 And the LORD did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into
his servants' houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies.

Death of cattle, which implies collapse of businesses and careers – Exo. 9:1-7
Exodus 9:1 Then the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD God of the
Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me. 9:2 For if thou refuse to let them go, and wilt hold them
still, 9:3 Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses,
upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous murrain. 9:4 And the LORD
shall sever between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all that is the
children's of Israel. 9:5 And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, To morrow the LORD shall do this thing in the
land. 9:6 And the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died: but of the cattle of the
children of Israel died not one. 9:7 And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not one of the cattle of the
Israelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go.

Hails and tempest mingled with fire, which connotes, devastation and destruction – Exo.
9:18-26
Exodus 9:18 Behold, to morrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been
in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now. 9:19 Send therefore now, and gather thy cattle, and all
that thou hast in the field; for upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall not be
brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die. 9:20 He that feared the word of the
LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses: 9:21 And he that
regarded not the word of the LORD left his servants and his cattle in the field. 9:22 And the LORD said unto
Moses, Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and
upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt. 9:23 And Moses stretched forth his
rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD
rained hail upon the land of Egypt. 9:24 So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as
there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. 9:25 And the hail smote throughout all
the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and
 brake every tree of the field. 9:26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no
hail.

Gross darkness, which connotes lack of direction, stagnation, frustration and despair –
Exo. 10:21-23Exodus 10:21 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven,
that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt. 10:22 And
Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of
Egypt three days: 10:23 They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days:
but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

The plague of sudden death – Exo. 12:29-31

Exodus 12:29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land
of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive
that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. 12:30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night,
he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was
not a house where there was not one dead. 12:31 And he called for Moses and Aaron by night,
and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel;
and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said.

Furthermore, we saw that famine is synonymous with every generation in history – Ecc.
1:9

Ecclesiastes 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be
done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

There was famine in the days of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph, but covenant
people usually flourish in hard times – Gen. 26:1/12-14/ Gen. 43:1/11-12/ Gen. 47:15-27
Genesis 26:1 And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And
Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar.Genesis 26:12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and
received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. 26:13 And the man waxed great, and went
forward, and grew until he became very great: 26:14 For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds,
and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.

Genesis 43:1 And the famine was sore in the land.Genesis 43:11 And their father Israel said unto them, If it must
be so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man a present, a little
balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds: 43:12 And take double money in your hand; and
the money that was brought again in the mouth of your sacks, carry it again in your hand; peradventure it was an
oversight:

Genesis 47:15 And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came
unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth. 47:16 And
Joseph said, Give your cattle; and I will give you for your cattle, if money fail. 47:17 And they brought their cattle
unto Joseph: and Joseph gave them bread in exchange for horses, and for the flocks, and for the cattle of the
herds, and for the asses: and he fed them with bread for all their cattle for that year. 47:18 When that year was
ended, they came unto him the second year, and said unto him, We will not hide it from my lord, how that our
money is spent; my lord also hath our herds of cattle; there is not ought left in the sight of my lord, but our
bodies, and our lands: 47:19 Wherefore shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our land? buy us and our
land for bread, and we and our land will be servants unto Pharaoh: and give us seed, that we may live, and not
die, that the land be not desolate. 47:20 And Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh; for the Egyptians
sold every man his field, because the famine prevailed over them: so the land became Pharaoh's. 47:21 And as
for the people, he removed them to cities from one end of the borders of Egypt even to the other end thereof.
 47:22 Only the land of the priests bought he not; for the priests had a portion assigned them of Pharaoh, and did
eat their portion which Pharaoh gave them: wherefore they sold not their lands. 47:23 Then Joseph said unto the
people, Behold, I have bought you this day and your land for Pharaoh: lo, here is seed for you, and ye shall sow
the land. 47:24 And it shall come to pass in the increase, that ye shall give the fifth part unto Pharaoh, and four
parts shall be your own, for seed of the field, and for your food, and for them of your households, and for food
for your little ones. 47:25 And they said, Thou hast saved our lives: let us find grace in the sight of my lord, and
we will be Pharaoh's servants. 47:26 And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt unto this day, that Pharaoh
should have the fifth part; except the land of the priests only, which became not Pharaoh's. 47:27 And Israel
dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the
country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly.

How to exercise Our Exemption Rights

Have a revelation of your exemption rights in Christ – 1 Pet. 2:9/ 2 Pet. 1:3
1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should
shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
2 Peter 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness,
through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Keep the love of God alive in your heart – Psa. 91:14/ Rom. 8:28
Psalms 91:14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he
hath known my name.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the
called according to his purpose.

Engage with the covenant of seed time and harvest – Psa. 41:1-3/ Eph. 6:8
Psalms 41:1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
41:2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and

the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.

Ephesians 6:8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of
the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16:16 He
that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 16:17 And these signs

with new tongues; 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them;

What are Prophecies?

the thing whereto I sent it.

Jehoshaphat king of Judah, an example of prophecy fulfilled through praise
 Judah was besieged by three kings, but in response to their cry unto God a prophetic word came
forth – 2 Chr. 20:1-2/14-17

It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of
Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against
Jehoshaphat to battle. 2 Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying,
 There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side
Syria; and, behold, they be Hazazon-tamar, which is En-gedi.
2 Chron 20:14-17
14 Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel,

the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD
in the midst of the congregation; 15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye
inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto
you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the
battle is not yours, but God's. 16 To morrow go ye down against them: behold,
they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook,
before the wilderness of Jeruel. 17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set
yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah
and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for
the LORD will be with you.

 But this prophetic word was fulfilled through praise warfare – 2 Chr. 20:21-25

21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the

LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before
the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. 22 And
when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the
children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah;
and they were smitten. 23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up
against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and
when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to
destroy another. 24 And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the
wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead
bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped. 25 And when Jehoshaphat and his
people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in
abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they
stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were
three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.
 To see prophecies fulfilled, we must continue to bless the Lord at all times like David did – Psa.
34:1/ Psa. 119:164/ 1 Sam. 16:13/ 2 Sam. 5:4

I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Ps 119:164
164 Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.

13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his

brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward.
So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.

4 David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty

Tips on Covenant Day of Settlement=Settlement means to be to lay foundation, it

also connotes establishment
We are not permitted to suffer any affliction beyond a while – 1Pet. 5:10 1 Peter 5:10
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye
have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

But what is a While?

Scripturally, a while for a moment is interpreted as: One hour, overnight, one day or
three days – Mat. 8:8-10/13/ Matthew 8:8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not
worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall
be healed. 8:9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man,
Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he
doeth it. 8:10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say
unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. 8:13 And Jesus said unto the
centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was
healed in the selfsame hour.

Psa. 30:5Psalms 30:5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may
endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

2 Kings 7:1 Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow
about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for
a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. 7:18 And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the
king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall
be to morrow about this time in the gate of Samaria:

2 Cor. 6:2 2 Corinthians 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of
salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of
salvation.)

Jhn. 2:19-22 John 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three
days I will raise it up. 2:20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building,
and wilt thou rear it up in three days? 2:21 But he spake of the temple of his body. 2:22 When
therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them;
and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

We must recognize that any affliction of long continuance is a curse, but Christ has
redeemed us from the curse of the law – Deut. 28:59Deuteronomy 28:59 Then the LORD
will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long
continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.

Gal. 3:13-14Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a
curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 3:14 That the blessing
of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the
promise of the Spirit through faith.

But to secure our Settlement in Christ, one must:

Be born again(the settlement of all settlements)– 2 Cor. 5:212 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath
made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God
in him.

Isa. 32:17Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of
righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

Be committed to building your faith – Rom. 10:17Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by
hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Heb. 4:9-12Hebrews 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 4:10 For he that
is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. 4:11 Let
us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of
unbelief. 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged
sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

(the labour here refer to is the labour of word.Labouring in the word strengthens our faith)

No wonder scripture say 1 Timothy 5:17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of
