The contributions of the Romans are evident all over the field of arts,
literature,government, and architecture. Although it is claimed that Romans have mostly
continued the culture and works of the Greeks. However, their contributions in the
architecture specifically with concrete and arch are notable.

The perfection of the arch is one of the legacies of the Romans.

Another leap for construction is the mastery of the concrete. This was used by the
Romans regarded as cheaper, stronger, more efficient and low cost that it paved way to
the building of the domes, vaults, and arch to become easier (Visual Arts n.p.).
