Vice President
Dear Sir
GHARISSA ICE CREAM seeks the approval of the Qatar Financial Center to form a new
company registered and regulated by the QFC. GHARISSA ICE CREAM will be the sole
owner of the new company, GHANIM ASSOCIATES SPC, which will sell franchises
using the opportunistic strategy approach. The reasons to form such entity include:
Minimize difficulties and costs in obtaining audited financial statements for the
existing firm.
Create an additional wall between the existing firm and any potential liability
incurred by the franchise program (Although no “corporate veil” is absolute proof
against liability, a separate entity may provide an extra measure of insulation
between companies.)
The new company will purchase and sell Gharissa ice cream unique bases and
pastes to other franchises.
The following is a brief overview of GHARISSA ICE CREAM and its business plan as it
relates to the proposed company GHANIM ASSOCIATES SPC to be registered with the
QFC.
Gharissa Ice cream was established as a single person company in the year 2012.
It started with a modest and traditional way and we were making ice cream with our
own recipe. It was really different both in taste and texture comparing to what was
available in the market. With lot of experiments and failures and having deep passion for
making the best ice cream, a unique ice cream experience has finally become a reality in
the Gulf.
Fine ingredients from local market combined with top quality Italian flavors and best
machines helped to create this delicious treat. A secret recipe developed using fresh
ingredients without additives or preservatives and educationally enriching experience
Gharissa ice cream Management would like to grow at a rate that does not exceed its
ability to replicate the factors that have contributed to its own success. Thus, in looking
at the next five years, Gharissa Ice Cream Management expects to sell 55 franchise
units over a period of 5 years.
Best regards
Mrs Eman Al Obaidly
Managing Director
