necessary steps to verify that information or statement and retains the right to amend or
reject your application for these scholarships.

If you have been made an offer of a Felix Scholarship by the University, and the
University believes that any information or statement contained on your scholarship
application form may not be true, accurate, current and complete, then the University
may in these circumstances withdraw or amend that offer. If you have been admitted as
a student, you may be subject to disciplinary action which could result in your expulsion
from the University and your College.

The University aims to offer financial assistance to as many well-qualified candidates as


possible, and we expect that you will continue to pursue other funding applications. You
must notify the University by email if you are awarded other funding that is to be used
towards the same costs as these scholarships (University and college fees, living
expenses and flights). If you do not disclose this information, any scholarship you may
be offered may be put at risk.

In the course of completing this scholarship application form, you have provided the
University with personal data. The consent set out below explains how your personal data
may be processed by the University.

• I consent to the collection, processing, sharing and use of relevant personal data by the
University for the purposes of processing my application for these scholarships, for
possible auditing of the responses I have provided, for administration, and (where
applicable) for research conducted by the University (including linking my scholarship
application to my course application and to my student record, if I become or continue to
be a student of the University), subject to the provisions of the UK Data Protection Act
1998.

• I understand that such personal data may be used and shared with third parties, some of
which may be located overseas (including outside the European Economic Area), for
these purposes. Personal data will be shared with the Felix Scholarship selection panel
in India for the purposes of evaluating your application.

• I understand that the University will normally only discuss my scholarship application with
me, unless I have nominated a third party agent on my course application.

scholarship application form is not true, accurate, current and complete, the University
may process and use this fact as relevant personal data. Such data may be used and
