Description Of Change: A new clutch end plate and shaft assembly is now used in
Clutch 3 (Reverse). The end plate was thickened to be more robust and improve clutch
performance, the parts listed below shall be installed together to ensure proper assembly.

Operation and Maintenance Manuals and relevant service
literature. Failure to follow the instructions or heed the warnings
could result in injury or death. Proper care is your responsibility.

The following changes are adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers, and
are effective with all products after the listed serial numbers.
The new 555-1700 Shaft As and 555-1701 End Plate are service replacement for 282-
7842 Shaft As and 165-0367 End Plate.

Note: Proactive replacement of the new shaft assembly and end plate is not required on
machines with no reverse clutch issues.
