Academic Projects
As part of MBA
Title : Equity valuation and optimal Capital Structure for Automobile Companie
Mentor : Dr. R Sahu
Description : This project focuses on how a firm finances its overall operations and growth, by using the
mix of a company's long-term debt, specific short-term debt, common equity and preferred equity as sources of funds.
It was found during study that a company which is more heavily financed by debt poses greater risk, as the firm is
relatively highly levered. Earning per share is not needed to find the Optimal Capital Structure. Maximum total value of
Equity translates to wealth maximization for Equity holders.
Title : Comparison between Binomial Option Pricing Model and NSE Option prices
Mentor : Dr. R Sahu
Description : The project aims at comparing actual prices of options in National Stock Exchange and the
theoretical value of European-style call and put options from the following inputs: stock price, strike price, interest
