 Short self introduction

 For the new normal in education, assessments and grades should be reviewed
and reimagined so that they continue to be relevant to students. From the
standpoint of a student, answer the following questions:

 1. What do you think are the kinds of assessments that can be properly and
meaningfully used in distance learning?
 2. What is/are the role(s) of your parents in the learning process?
 3. What can you suggest to your instructor about how will you be graded in the
course?

Audio Quality - 10pts.
Personality - 10pts.

I am Filma P. Sumagpao, married, presently live in brgy3, San Francisco

Agusan Del Sur. I am 3rd year student in this institution, taking up Bachelor in
Elementary Education.

As per advised and mandated protocols by our government, here comes now
our new normal in speaking of education. And as a student, I have my own
answers to the questioned that most students would ask for, especially in
taking assessments and how we are going to be graded.

Answers;

1. I think easy writing is good for distance learning, it could be very helpful
to us as a future educator. Second, having oral recitation through a
phone call is good too. Since we don’t have a good signal for internet
connection, I do prefer to choose these two kinds of assessments for
distance learning out from the topic that we have been taking.
2. Since I am already a parent, I rather consider my husband as my
guardian. One of the biggest roles that he should be considered is to
support me in all matters especially financially speaking as well as to my
children who are doing distance learning too. Understand my situation of
being a mother/ wife and also as a student who is busy at all times.
3. I suggest having them more consideration to the students for we are not
all given a chance to have permanent income to support online learning,
and not all students have a permanent good signal to do such assigned
work. Although we’ve given enough time to pass however, it would be
necessary for the instructor to please review properly the worked of the
students because most of them have been doing copy paste from the
internet. That’s what I suggest to make it fair.
