 Kindergarten Words 1-50, Literacy First

These 50 sight words are part of Literacy First, List A

sight words. The Literacy First program chose some of
the easier and more common sight words from “List A”
for kindergarten. I also have flash cards for the
additional 50 words from List A (Kindergarten Words
51-100, Literacy First).

Each flash card set has matching power point “Sight

Word Slide Show” sets for sale in my store. I have
several different seasonal and fun themes for children.
I hope you give them a try! My students really love
them. I have seen major improvement in their sight
word learning since using the power point “Sight Word
Practice” sets. They provide a quick, easy and fun way
to practice sight words on a daily basis. They are great
for the classroom or at home practice.

For your choice, the first set of sight words are listed 5
words to a page and the second set of sight words are
listed 10 words to a page. I have included checklists
with and without color and number words.

I gave several choices. (mostly

because I couldn’t make up my
mind which way would be the best!)

If you like to keep one checklist for

the year, I made lists with school
year at the top and you can put
each testing date and the words
correct in the notes column.

If you like to send a weekly

checklist, I made additional copies
with date at the top instead of
school year.
