Numerology is any belief in the divine
or mystical relationship between a number and one or
more coinciding events. It is also the study of the
numerical value of the letters in words, names, and ideas.
It is often associated with the paranormal,
alongside astrology and similar divinatory arts.
Despite the long history of numerological ideas, the word
"numerology" is not recorded in English before c. 1907.
The relationship between letters and numbers has

The Pythagorean (Western) system
Its origins are linked to Pythagoras, the Greek
mathematician
This system assigns letters of the alphabet to 1-9
numbers and calculates the life or soul number using
the chart. The resultant number is reduced to a single
digit value as the Pythagorean system works only on
single digits.

The Chaldean system
Originated in ancient Babylon, this is one of the oldest
numerology systems in the world. Here, the numbers assigned
to each letter are not as systematic as in the Pythagorean
method but are based on the vibrations of a specific letter.
This system uses a formula by assigning letters to the numbers 1
to 8, but no letter is assigned the number 9, which is considered
a sacred or holy number. However, nine is accepted as a
resultant number, when it comes as a final sum.

The Kabbalah system
This system, which originated from Hebrew mysticism,
studies only the name. It includes 22 vibrations ranging from
1 to 400. As this system just takes the name and not the
birth date into consideration, it is not widely used.
Abjad system
The Arabic system of numerology is known as Abjad
notation or Abjad numerals. In this system each letter of
Arabic alphabet has a numerical value. This system is
